CMA – Cyprus Music Archive organizes a presentation of its research plans and events for 2024-25. The event will take place on Thursday, 31 October 2024, at 6pm, at the Home for Cooperation, in Nicosia’s Buffer Zone. Ethnomusicologist Dr Nicoletta Demetriou will present CMA’s forthcoming research plans, on behalf of the organization.
After a presentation of CMA’s statutory objectives, the event will focus primarily on CMA’s research plans for 2024-25, following the organization’s recent funding by the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF)/US Department of State. More specifically, there will be a presentation of the events and seminars that are due to take place in the next few months, which are aimed at young people who would like to conduct research on Cypriot traditional music or Cypriot ethnography more generally.
The event will be in English. Free and open to all.
RSVP by 29 October at [email protected]
